Overpriced, poor quality civic radiator
Installed this radiator several days ago and the transmission oil cooler sprayed transmission oil like crazy. Oil and coolant mixed via cooler tank and LUCKILY my transmission was not damaged, since it caught it just in time. I contacted the company and they just told me to send it back. Thats no comfort since I live outside the U.S. and would have to pay export duties plus courier fees (arm & leg) to recoup my money. Their website claims "High quality", ISO production, ultra-sonically tested, blah, blah, blah and it still leaked like a mother*****. I highly recommend against buying from this company since, this should never have happened, under such tight "quality production operations". As a matter of fact, it was made in China ! Just looking at it, I noticed several flaws all over. The fan shroud nut was missing for the right side, there was some kind of crystal residue on the sides - not sure what that is....There were black burn marks at the top and bottom of the aluminum crimp...

WARNING: Spectra Premium Radiator Destroyed My Transmission!
We bought a new radiator from amazon.com -- a Spectra Premium CU2307. Installed it, drove around the neighborhood, and everything seemed okay, so I drove it about 30 miles. Then, just as I was parking, a couple ounces of transmission fluid suddenly spilled out. The transmission dipstick was very hot!
After leaving it parked for 3 hours we added transmission fluid back to the appropriate dipstick level before driving it again. At first it slipped badly in reverse but worked okay in all forward gears. After 2 or 3 more attempts reverse no longer worked at all, and it slipped in all gears.
We discovered that the new Spectra Premium radiator's transmission cooler passage was obstructed so that no transmission fluid was getting to the cooler. The pressure had forced the override vent normally intended to open only in freezing weather. Amazon sent us another radiator whose passage isn't blocked. But now my transmission needs to be rebuilt -- a $3,600.00 job...

I have had this radiator now for about three months. Only issue was with the reservoir output connection. The hole from the cap area to the reservoir output tube was partially blocked (not drilled through or molded properly). The coolant was flowing out of the radiator to the reservoir but would not reliably flow back. Opened this up to about 3/16" and solved the problem. Otherwise no issues to date.
